My research and analysis have supported a number of organizations, including the National Research Council of Canada, Defence Research and Development Canada, National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces.
Iām no stranger to jargon or specialized vocabularies; my roles have required me to quickly build understanding of concepts, technologies and systems used in various sectors, no matter how seemingly small.
Domain-wise, my work has supported a number of areas, including NORAD modernization, activity in the High Arctic, decarbonization, alternative fuels, aging in place, medical devices and metascans on topics including AI and emerging technologies.
I have also published and presented on a variety of topics, ranging from academic research data services to philosophical explorations of data to the availability of demographic data in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Selected presentation venues include the Digital Library Forum, Statistics Canada, Western University and the Feminist Digital Methods Conference, in addition to an invited talk at Bowling Green State University.
